Our Governance

NEST is a highly accountable organisation where everyone plays a part in providing the best possible opportunities for pupils, families, staff and the community. NEST has a governance structure that enables all to contribute and all to be accountable.

The Members

There are five influential members who serve as the Guardians of our constitution, watching over and preserving the very heart of our organisation’s vision and values. Their role is pivotal—they appoint Directors and ensure that every decision made stays true to the moral purpose and mission that drives us forward.

The Trust Board

The Trust is led by a dynamic team of seven visionary board members! With ultimate decision-making power, they hold the responsibility for guiding every aspect of the Trust's work, from shaping its future to overseeing the creation and thriving of our Academies. Their leadership ensures that the Trust continues to grow, innovate, and provide outstanding education to all.

Local Committees

Our schools have engaging and dynamic Local Committees! Depending on the size of the school, it brings together at least three passionate community members, two dedicated parents, a committed staff member, and, of course, the Headteacher. This diverse group works together to drive positive change and ensure that the school thrives within the heart of the community.
