Teaching Assistants - Marjorie McClure School

NEST Nurseries Practitioner
NEST Nurseries welcome applications for bank/casual supply staff to join our Nursery, situated in the beautiful grounds of Pickhurst Infant Academy in West Wickham, Kent. Based at our first nursery there will be future opportunities to move to new NEST nurseries within the group As a Nursery Practitioner working with us, you will play a key role in supporting the development of children in all areas of the learning. You can expect a supportive team with a competitive salary, excellent training and development as well as a caring and passionate place to work. You will work under the direction and management of a Nursery Teacher and within a team of other childcare professionals.
Salary: S3 (£13.77-£13.98 per hour)
Hours:
Bank staff who may be available at short notice to cover a morning or afternoon shift (7.45am – 1pm or 1 - 6pm)

Key Responsibilities
Be the Backbone of Recruitment: Support the recruitment and onboarding process, making sure every new employee feels valued and prepared from day one.
Master of Administration: Handle contractual changes with precision, working closely with payroll and finance teams to meet all deadlines and ensure smooth monthly operations.
Operational Support: Assist the HR Business Partner with both administrative and operational tasks, contributing to the overall success and efficiency of the HR department.
Salary: Apprentice Salary £23,000 - £24,000
You will be studying for a Level 3 apprentice in HR Support. The apprenticeship is a 18 - 24 month course and once completed is equivalent to 2 A levels. The apprenticeship is designed for entry level positions in HR and will complement the work you will be undertaking as an HR Assistant. Further details of the apprenticeship which is delivered by Apprentice Team Ltd can be found in the
attached Apprenticeship Guide.
Hours: 36 hours a week, 52 weeks a year
